Back For The First Time

I bet you are wondering how I got to this point? I am often told I should share my story and there is no better time than now to start. Sit back and enjoy because you are about to learn a little more about Nique.

Where to start… Oh yeah, well I am currently living in South Korea for the second time in my adult life. A very enjoyable, yet interesting ,experience the first time and I hope to repeat that same feeling. By being here, I left behind my family. My handsome husband, my two beautiful children, my goofy boxer puppy Luke, and a host of family and friends. It’s tough, but I am honestly trying not to focus on what I am missing out on but instead looking forward to what is to come.

In the almost ten years that I have been married to my husband he has shown me that he can handle whatever is thrown his way. He is taking on a lot, but it takes a village. I am thankful for the village that I am a part of and that they are willing to step in to help at any time.

I had a hard time taking on this assignment because I just didn’t feel ready. I still don’t, but like I said I am looking for just about any distraction to keep me going. So this is my first post and certainly not my last. Enjoy.

I am going to miss these hugs for a little bit.
